Instruction is provided by Ian Seward. Ian is a professional full time instructor and qualified as an MCA/RYA Ocean Yachtmaster Instructor/examiner for both sailing and power vessels, with probably well in excess of 50,000 sea miles in many various vessels. He is also a qualified MCA/RYA Powerboat Trainer and examiner, and teaches all of the levels of powerboat and rigid inflatable courses as well as being an examiner for the commercial powerboat licence, he also qualifies powerboat instructors. Ian is also a Radar, and VHF instructor, and teaches the whole range of RYA Theory courses. Ian is based in Cornwall but works for a number of schools all along the south and south west coast of the UK as well as instructing courses and conducting RYA examinations abroad. His broad spectrum of qualifications has given him valuable experience and hands on teaching in many differing vessels.
